How This began..
In May 2014, after the most perfectly imperfect wedding, I loaded up my daughter and moved far away to join my best friend in Chattanooga, TN, leaving behind my family, friends, and career.
Once in Chattanooga, we learned of an addition that would join our family in 9 months. While elated that the Lord entrusted us to raise a baby, it further solidified that my past career and love would not be an option for me or my family. So began the prayer asking, begging, pleading with the Lord to provide me with new purpose and career.
I don't remember the exact day, but I do know that one day it just hit me! Be a doula! The more I tossed around the idea, the more I felt that indeed this is what the Lord would have for me! So here I am. Over the last nine years, I've attended births of friends and family and witnessed many new babies enter this world. I have always enjoyed talking with pregnant, laboring (ha ha yes!), and postpartum family and friends.
Having two babies of my own and the shared experiences of so many, I had a good foundation of knowledge to begin my certification. I chose my first certification to come from Stillbirthday. After walking with a friend through the pregnancy and loss of her fullterm baby, I really feel that she deserved more than what was avaliable for her. As a Birth and Bereavement Doula, I want to stand in the gap and serve you in the best way I can.
Photography has always been an interest and hobby of mine for as long as I can remember - an inherited trait of my mother who taught me so much. I'm so excited to be able to provide photographs to you!!

Life is beautiful. Let's honor your story.
